Started in 2016 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, GCFC (Gulf Coast Fishing Charters) has now partnered with friend and Captain Jonathan “Slim” Laird and moved operations to Pensacola, FL with an old (yet newly outfitted) 28’ Topaz “Da’ Bandit”.

Captain Paxton “Pac-Man” Ponson has been fishing the waters of the Gulf Coast and Pensacola for the last 30 years.  Since he was old enough to hold a fishing pole, he’s been fishing Louisiana waters with his father.  Speckled Trout and Redfish were his father’s passion and together they fished on average 40-80 days a season, throughout his childhood.  He moved to the MS Gulf Coast from Louisiana at age 15 and started working for some top producing charter boats until he started in the oil field supply boat industry as a captain at age 24. After 20yrs in the oilfield he decided to continue doing what his passion and hearts in…Fishing!
